SAMHSA Grant Awarded!

Drs. DeShong, Nadorff, Stafford, and Winer were recently funded by SAMHSA as part of the state of Mississippi Garrett Lee Smith Grant. They partnered with the State of Mississippi Department of Mental Health and Region 8 Mental Health to deliver pre- and post-vention youth suicide across the state of Mississippi. This grant, titled Innovative MSU Cares - Preventing and Responding to Mississippi Youth Suicide, provides over $1,600,000 in funding for the next five years to develop and deliver these front-line treatments. Congrats to everyone on their hard work on getting this grant submitted and awarded!
